Getting There

So far, there is no direct flight from any state of America to Myanmar, please expect a transit flight with 2-3 hours layover. There are many flights from Bangkok, Singapore, Hanoi, Kualalumpur.
The busiest flying hub that you can access Yangon, Mandalay and Naypyidaw is Bangkok.
Overland journeys are more opening now. You can enter by different international border gate like Ranong, Tachileik, Myawaddy, Ruli and some at India border line as well. Many border gates do not offer visa on arrival, please contact us for better advice about this.
Up to 2017, there are many ocean cruises arriving in Yangon by Thaliwa port as well.
