Day 1: From Yangon to Golden Rock
Your driver and tour guide will pick you up from your hotel in town for a journey accross Yangon region. Enroute, village visits are available for real local experience. You will understand how pagodas or stupas are built in each village.
As you arrive at Kimpun base camp, change for a truck ride up hill. The sunset is for photographying the famous Golden Rock.

Day 2: Golden Rock to Bago and Yangon
Today, we capture the sunrise when monks start praying in the pagoda. After breakfast and visit the key sites we then depart from Kyaikhtyo to Bago, home to Pegu, a splendid ancient capital of Mon Kingdom. Here, your tour guide will introduce you the highlights of Kanbawzathadi Palace, Reclining Budhha Statue, Shwemawdaw - huge pagoda and many Buddhist treasures nearby. Bago market is also a very nice stop to taste local food.
Drop off at the hotel in late afternoon.

Golden Rock and Southern Discovery 4 days
Day 01: Yangon to Bago and Golden Rock
Leave Yangon for a scenic driver about 1,5 hour. On the way, drop by Htauk Kyant Memorable Cemetery. Upon arrival in Bago, see the Pottery traditional workshop then Shwemawdaw, the tallest pagoda in Burma. The sightseeing in Bago includes Kanbawza ancient palace, snake guarded pagoda and Kyaik Pun pagoda, famous for 4 sides Buddha statue.
In the afternoon, head to Kim Pun Camp then climb up to Kyai Htiyoe for sunset. Settle your night in Golden Rock.

Day 02: Golden Rock - Hpa An
Spend the morning to unearth the massive golden rock perching balancedly on a mountain edge. Free to take photos.
The road trip today takes about 3 hours to reach Hpa An. Upon arrival, if time permits, visit some of the key attractions in town.

Day 03: Hpa An sightseeing
The area of Hpa An is studded with pictureque rice paddies, exotic markets and grand view mountain. Your exploration of Hpa An commences from its central market then Sandar Cave, Kyaukalat pagoda, which opens into a gigantic cavern filled with Buddhas and pagodas.
A stop by Lumbini garden will reveals the secret of thousand Buddha images at the base of its mountain.
Conclude your sightseeing day with a climb up to Mount Zwegabin, a perfect spot for panoramic view.

Day 04: Hpa An - Yangon
After breakfast, visit 3 of the most noteable caves in the area : Bayin Nyi, an awe inspiring chamber filled with many statues, Kawgoon cave which is remarkable for its 7th architect then Ya Theat Pyan, popular with devotees. On the way back to Yangon, drop by Thahtone, visiting Shwe Sar Yan pagoda.
The tour finishes at your hotel.
