Yangon 3 Days Tour for Culture Explorer

Day 01: Yangon Culture 

Our tour guide / Yangon specialist will pick you up from your hotel/ airport to start the day. As you head to Yangon downtown, start a gentle walk from the High Court Building to the Secretariat. Along the way, you will have chance to spot a number of Yangon's architecture heritages remaining from British Colonial Era. A guided visit will reveal you more characters of these buildings. 
The next stop is a striking Hindu temple locates in the vibrant Indian quarter. Take your time for delicious curry or tasteful traditional Burmese salad. 
Aftertime finds you walking near Kandawgyi, known as Royal lake. from where you will access the house of General Aung San, known as the Burmese hero who contributed his life to gain the independece for Burma. 
Conclude your first day in Yangon at Shwedagon, a gilded pagoda that dominates the skyline of Yangon by its golden flash. 
 

Day 02 : Day Trip to Bago

Depart from your hotel this morning after breakfast. After 1,5 hours scanning the rural landscapes of Yangon division, you will reach the small town of Yangon for a market hopping. Spend your time to learn about local foods and spices - do not mind to try some local snacks !
After that, visit Kya Khat Wai Monastery to observe one of the three largest Monasteries in the country and the Buddhist monastic life and to observe the lunch process of thousands of monks who take their last meal of the day. 
The most remarkable pagoda in Bago is Shwemawdaw which is similar to Shwedagon but in smaller size. 
In the afternoon, continue your sightseeing to Kanbawzathedi, a former palace considered as the best signature of Mon Kingdom. Another Buddhist site that you will see is Shwethalyaung Buddha, unique for its 3 faces Buddha statues.
For those who want to experience the local life, our tour guide will arrange village visit on the way back to Yangon. Drop off at your hotel for your own leisure.
 

Day 03 : Yangon in Style

This day is designed for both culture and art. You will commence the day with a food tour into China town by Yangoneer's way : on trishaw. Your personal driver will lead you through aromatic streets to sample the culinary highlights of Yangon for 2 hours then finish at Scott, the biggest market in Myanmar. 
A fast introduction of Myanmar art will be made as you scan some of the best Yangon galleries. 
In the afternoon, embark on a circular train ride traversing different townships and open rail side markets. You will be picked up again to see Chautatkhgyi pagoda, home to a giant reclining Buddha before finish your 3 days Yangon at your hotel/ airport.

Yangon in Luxury Style 3 days

This is a perfect option for free and easy style travelers who want to enjoy the essential of Yangon but stay in comfort. 

Day 01 : Yangon Arrival 

To start the day, you will take a guided walk to explore Yangon downtown. The walk includes visits to some British Colonial building such as Emmanuel Church, City Hall, Secrectary house. Stop at Yangon Tea House for authentic Burmese lunch. 
Afternoon is left free to enjoy the spa or swimming pool. 
The highlight of this day is the visit to Shwedagon pagoda, a shimmering stupas built in 6th century, decorated by gold, diamond and sapphires. Shwedagon offers both fascinating cultural interaction and photo opportunities. 

Day 02 : Yangon Food and Art

Today, you will follow one of the most experienced chef in Yangon to tackle the morning market. Be ready for an introduction of Burmese cuisine and its spices. After food demonstration, challenge yourself with your own dishes ! The Yangon cooking class finishes after lunch, giving you time to relax.
Lately this afternoon, check in Strand Hotel for a famous tea time before exploring the most celebrated art galleries of Yangon.
Suggestion for dinner : Planteur restaurant, a beautiful fusion of Burmese and French cuisine.

Day 03 : Yangon Departure

Start your day with a visit to Chatkhtatgyi pagoda, famous for its giant Reclining Buddha statue. You will then head to National museum for a glance of Burmese culture reflecting through its artifacts and art collections. 
The remainder of the day is for your own leisure.
