Myanmar Visa from Hong Kong

No exemption for Myanmar Visa applied Hong Kong or Chinese people as well foreigners who stay in this city. Accordingly , we advice you to apply for the visa either online or with Myanmar Consulate at least 1 week before you start your tour.
To fulfill the visa application, you are offered different choices:

• Applying for visa through Myanmar Consulate (traditional way, visa picked up after certain time at the bureau)
• Apply Online for Visa on arrival with myanmarvisa.org (visa picked up at Myanmar International Airports).
 

Please be advised  that each method has advantages and be useful, fast in certain situation.
Travelers should note that while visa on arrival is more convenient and less time-consuming.

For visa on arrival, you will work with a tour operator who links their work to Myanmar Department and will issue a visa approval letter with your name on it stating that you are allowed to enter Myanmar on a specified date. Then, you will have the visa stamped onto your passport at the arrival airport. If you apply for visa at Myanmar embassies, the visa stamp will be on your passport when they send it back to you.

For other nationalities currently visiting/ staying in Hong Kong
• If your nationalities are not included in the Myanmar visa exemption list, you are required to obtain a visa before traveling to Myanmar.
