Day 1: First Yangon Touches
Market visit
Morning markets plays an important role in daily local life of Yangon people. Start your visit of Yangon from Theingyi Zay is a good choice. The market is located in a colorful part of Yangon.
Take a guided walk to Yangon Downtown
This is one of top things you should do in Myanmar as you will have chance to witness the timeless building or known as " British Colonial Heritages". On this walk, your tour guide will show you the highlights of Yangon remaining from the old day including City Hall, Immanuel Church, Custom House and Secrectary House ( opened for public in 2018).
Taste Burmese flavor for lunch
Once you are in the downtown, dining options are various but the first dish you should taste is either Shan Noodle or Mohinga, followed by Bein Moun - crispy pancakes.
Afternoon by pagoda
Spend your afternoon to enjoy the photogenic chances by Shwedagon pagoda, the most prominent monument in the city. Shwedagon highest paya rises up to 100m, carrying 30 tons of gold leaf, some 2,500 rubies and a big amount of diamond which forms its shine that you can view from anywhere in the city.

Late afternoon is a good time to enjoy market hopping at the Scott, the biggest market in Yangon. For Yangon City Tour, Scott is a must-stop site with thousands of stalls ranging from fresh fruits to typical Burmese longyi, umbrella, jade and even art work.
