1. Explore Golden Palace Monastery
Schwenandaw Kyaing was built in 19th century with rich teak carving decoration depicting tales from Buddhist mythology.

2. Sunset by Taungthaman Lake/ Ubein bridge
While Ubein is claimed as the longest teakwood bridge in the word, Taungthaman lake where the bridge crosses has a beautiful location and it is a special place to enjoy the sunset with deep reflection of pagoda and bridge columns.
You will have chances to admire Amarapura ancient capital just in short distance from these famous attractions.

3. Visit Kuthodaw Paya
Kuthodaw Paya is not only a religious complex, it holds a record of being the largest book in the word. The complete text of the Tripitaka (Theravada Buddhism’s most sacred text) is inscribed on 729 marble slabs, each of which is enshrined in its own small stupa and arranged in rows around the grounds.

4. Jade and Gem Market of Mahar Aung Maya
If you want to learn about the most precious stones in the world, having some beautiful jade, then Myanmar is a wonderful place to see and buy it.
The side trip to world`s largest jade market is located in Mandalay and you do not have to pay for administration.
