Myanmar Visa for South Africa citizens
To get Myanmar Visa, the premier option is to apply through Embassies of Myanmar, however since there is no Embassy in South Africa, we strongly recommend you two ways to get visa before you enter Myanmar:
1. Apply for Visa on Arrival
The who procedure will take from 2 to 7 working days.
When you apply online, you will receive a visa approval letter with your name and some other details to double check. This letter will help you to board the flight and get the visa at the airport.
2. Apply through Embassy
This option is applicable if you leave abroad and have chances to visit a Myanmar Embassy in US, UK or other countries.
For other nationalities currently staying in South Africa
• If your nationalities are not included in the Myanmar visa exemption list, it is a must to obtain visa before you come to Myanmar
• For those whose nationalities are supported with visa on arrival, you can follow the simple steps listed above to apply for one at www.myanmarvisa.org. Or, you can contact the nearest Myanmar Embassy around your area to apply.
• First, please check if a visa is required for your nationality to enter Myanmar by visiting our Check Requirement in the footer of our website.
