From 08 March 2014, Myanmar Immigration Department has stopped their service for Pre-arranged visa on arrival. This action will take places for all new visa application from 08th March 2014.

On 10th March 2014
The UMTA (Union of Myanmar Travel Association) has requested the Ministry of immigration and the Ministry of Hotel and Tourism to re allow pre-arrangement Visas On Arrival (VOA). We are waiting for the reply of ministries.

After a week of waiting, Myanmar Immigration Department had announced that they only accept pre-arranged visa for group with from 10 passenger and bigger.

For travellers who plan to obtain visa through this channel, be advised to find an alternative option such as visiting Embassy, sending application from home to Embassy and try to get visa before you arrive in Myanmar.
For those who can not make a visit to Myanmar Embassy in Europe, US or Australian, we recommend you to do it Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur or Singapore where you can get visa within a working day. Please keep in mind that it is for working day only, not weekend nor public holiday.

If you need any information about this, please feel free to contact our visa expect through contact form on the top of this site
